  • Alaska Air Cargo has delivered the season's first shipment of Copper River salmon to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. This maiden shipment marks the start of the summer salmon season. Last year, Alaska Air Cargo flew nearly 25 million pounds of seafood to U.S. destinations.
  • Singapore Changi Airport handled 148,200 tonnes of cargo in April, a 4.9 percent, year-over-year, decrease. From a 12-month perspective, however, Changi Airport has actually seen an uptick in airfreight operations — volumes have increased 1.3 percent, year-over-year.
