IAG Cargo in a hurry

By control on January 31, 2013

IAG Cargo, the merged British Airways World Cargo/Iberia Cargo business, has delivered a Pagani Huarya from Frankfurt to Hong Kong. The twin turbo, 720 horsepower supercar–which recently featured on the new series of the Top Gear program and became the fastest car ever to go round the Top Gear track–traveled on IAG’s B747-8 freighter service.

Globaltrans International Logistics, a leading mid-sized logistics service provider headquartered at Düsseldorf, organized the shipment on behalf of customer Trans.Al Logistic.

Christian Steindorf, Frankfurt branch manager for Globaltrans, said, “Given that the Pagani Huarya is valued at over €1 million, we needed safe and timely delivery. The team handled the delivery with the care and respect it deserved.”

Chris Nielen, regional commercial manager, Europe at IAG Cargo, added, “Our Frankfurt-Hong Kong freighter service has proved to be highly beneficial for European companies wishing to trade with Asia, not least in the automotive industry.”
