The trade association for express mail and logistics companies presented the award to AA Cargo at the AirCargo 2013 XLA conference in Las Vegas. It is based on survey results from member express companies, which AA Cargo and other carriers serve.
“We are honored to receive this award,” AA Cargo President Kenji Hashimoto said. “The award is especially meaningful because it is voted on by our customers, who are at the center of everything we do.”
This is the third year American Airlines Cargo has won in the international airline category.
“The members of the XLA provided survey results that clearly showed they valued the performance, reliability and service of American Airlines for their international cargo needs,” Jim Conway, executive director of the Express Delivery and Logistics Association, said. “The company’s excellent performance provided value not only to the XLA members, but the customers they represent – particularly in the life science and critical shipment area.”
