LATAM Airlines Group and its subsidiaries slightly increased cargo traffic in March compared to March 2012.
LATAM’s traffic rose by 0.4 percent as capacity increased 3.5 percent. The cargo load factor decreased 1.8 points to 60.1 percent.
The growth in cargo capacity is due to an increased availability in the belly of passenger aircraft. Cargo traffic was driven by higher volumes in certain markets to and from South America.
