By control on April 15, 2013

In 14 hours and 40 minutes, cargo can be moved from Zhengzhou, China to Chicago.

China Southern Airlines’ debut CZ447 flight, a Boeing 747 freighter, took off from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and headed for Chicago.

This is the second all-cargo route China Southern Airlines launched in Zhengzhou, shortly after the introduction of a Los Angeles-Zhengzhou-Guangzhou freighter route.

The inaugural flight was loaded mostly with Apple products.

This all-cargo flight operates every Wednesday and Saturday with a weekly capacity of more than 200 tonnes.

China Southern’s trucking and air-to-air network allows shipments to be distributed to more than 10 cities in the U.S. and 19 South American cities in Chile, Paraguay and Brazil.
