American Airlines Cargo has introduced three new U.K. and Ireland frequencies to its 2015 summer schedule. Cargo service between Glasgow and Philadelphia began on May 3, and service between Edinburgh and New York’s JFK, as well as Shannon and Philadelphia, is scheduled to begin on May 7.
American will utilize 757 aircraft in these markets, which are ideal for smaller-size shipments, where speed and efficiency are critical, the carrier said.
“It’s important that our growing network offers customers the widest possible choice of departure destinations in both the U.K. and Ireland,” said Tristan Koch, American’s managing director, cargo sales, in the region.
