AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) and Sky Fresh signed a service-level agreement last week to launch the new Sky Fresh platform that digitalizes cargo acceptance checklists and allows the Moscow-based carrier to manage cargo via a smartphone or tablet.
In addition to digitalization, the Sky Fresh online web platform centralizes data from acceptance checklists, giving ABC the ability to monitor freight movements for time- and temperature-sensitive shipments at each step of the transportation chain, and send of automated notifications to all supply chain stakeholders.
ABC said that the agreement enhanced transparency of operations, traceability, efficiency and the possibility to take corrective and preventive actions, if needed, as all data will be made visible on the platform in real time
Fedor Novikov, global director of pharmaceuticals for ABC, said that, “We foresee it propelling the quality of our abcPharma product, bringing it to the next level by eliminating the potential of human error.” Novikov added that the new platform would, “make the whole process of transportation more transparent, customized and accurate.”
