Due to the growth of its retail, solar, high-tech, aerospace and medical customers, SEKO Logistics has invested in facilities in California, tripling its warehouse operations. A new hub in Chino (east of Los Angeles) has opened, as well as a 200,000-square-foot facility in San Francisco, which brings SEKO’s capacity in the city to nearly 350,000 square feet. In Los Angeles, the company’s airfreight gateway and warehouse operation has moved into a new, larger cross-dock and forwarding location.
At 82,000 square feet, the new Los Angeles unit is more than 30 percent larger than SEKO’s former LAX facility, and it is close to the airport and seaport for international air and ocean export and de-consolidation services.
The Chino hub is 117,000 square feet and SEKO has also opened a new 24,000 square foot warehouse in Riverside to support fast-growing retail customers in surrounding areas. The Riverside location services home-delivery customers and also provides warehousing for retailers and consumer brands. Additionally, SEKO operates a dedicated MedTec hub in Costa Mesa and serves customers out of San Diego. The company now operates five facilities in Southern California and three in Northern California.
