Just weeks after launching its New York-to-Belgrade route, Air Serbia said it is looking to boost airfreight traffic on its A330-200s used on the new route, with a cargo promotion. Through Aug. 31, agents in the United States, whose first customer order is for a shipment of more than 10 tonnes, will receive two economy-class passenger tickets to any destination served by Air Serbia. Agents booking a shipment more than five tonnes will receive two economy-class tickets to Belgrade.
The widebody A330 aircraft, which flies five-times-weekly between Serbia and the U.S., offers 15 tonnes or 40 cubic meters of bellyhold cargo capacity per flight. That adds up to 150 tonnes of cargo capacity every week along the route.
Dane Kondić, CEO of Air Serbia, added that his airline provided, “an extensive and efficient road-feeder service that spans the Balkans and the United States, transporting cargo wherever it needs to go.”
