Among the finalists are All Nippon Airways, Emirates SkyCargo, EVA Air, and LAN Cargo.
Awards are bestowed upon the world’s best-performing Air Carriers and Airports. A total of nine awards for the top Air Carriers will be determined: Gold, Platinum and Diamond in three tonnage categories. For the best Airports, 11 Diamond Awards will be determined for tonnage categories in five regions: Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and North America.
The Air Cargo Excellence Awards will take place in Shanghai, China, on March 10 at the Pudong Shangri-la Hotel after the opening reception of the IATA World Cargo Symposium – one of the world’s key air cargo community gatherings. The evening will commence with a drinks and canapé reception, followed by a gala dinner and the presentation of the Awards.
The Air Cargo Excellence Survey was established in 2005 and is carried out and published annually by Air Cargo World. The survey is based upon a rating system that measures airlines and airports on specific criteria and subsequently ranks them to identify above or below-average performance. There are two surveys – one for airlines, and one for airports based on their performance during the previous 12 months.
