Here’s a final image to kick off your weekend. When Panalpina loaded an Atlas Air 747-400F for its first scheduled service from Huntsville, Alabama, to Viracopos, São Paulo, on the gloomy afternoon on March 3, videographer Bob Gathany of AL.com was there to record the event.
“The weather was pretty overcast and rainy that day, except for the end when the plane got ready to take off and the sun came out behind the plane,” Gathany said. “We plan to go back again when the weather is good and we can do a time- lapse of a quick two-hour turnaround of both unloading and reloading of one of Panalpina’s air cargo flights from Hong Kong or Luxembourg.”
