Aviation minister for the British parliament’s department for transport, Baroness Liz Sugg, met with executives from London-based CargoLogicAir (CLA) at London Stansted Airport (STN) to discuss CLA’s role in boosting international trade in the realms of pharmaceuticals, aerospace, oil and gas, and the automotive industries.
In attendance was recently-appointed CEO David Kerr, chief commercial officer Steve Harvey, technical director John Nicholas and head of HR Pamela Rablin. Kerr indicated the company’s intent to support government and initiatives that will develop the U.K.’s international trade links in the above-named industries, stating CLA will continue to “invest in building a team, fleet and network” via its air cargo services.
The young all-cargo airline, which operated its first flight in 2016, has three747 freighters in its fleet, which link the U.K. with Atlanta, Mexico City, Houston, Frankfurt, Dubai, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong out of London Stansted Airport.
