Since launching its first scheduled route in August, CargoLogicAir (CLA) has already carried more than 2,000 tonnes of cargo on the twice-weekly U.K.-to-Mexico service.
The British all-cargo airline attributed the route’s success to demand from the oil and gas industry for space aboard the 747-400 freighter between the United States and Middle East. The freighter departs from London’s Stansted Airport on Wednesdays and Saturdays and flies to Mexico City via Frankfurt, Houston, Atlanta and Abu Dhabi. CLA also offers road feeder services for deliveries to Dubai International Airport (DXB), Dubai World Central (DWC) and Sharjah (SHJ).
CLA has continued adding scheduled routes following the success of its U.K.-to-Mexico route, adding weekly service connecting London and Frankfurt to Dubai and Hong Kong in October and a route from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv beginning today.
