Jettainer, a company that manages containers and pallets for air freight, is taking over the management and servicing of all the air-freight containers for the Thomas Cook Group Airlines. One of its new ultra-light containers was symbolically handed over at a signing ceremony on May 5 at Air Cargo Europe in Munich.
Jettainer has already been working for Condor, the leisure airline of the Thomas Cook Group since 2006. It will now cover Thomas Cook Airlines UK and Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia. Operations with the two airlines will start in the fall. This consolidates all of the group’s ULD management to one company, or about 1,800 ULDs for the entire Thomas Cook Group Airlines.
