Nepal Airlines chooses Unilode for ULD service on new A330-200s

Nepal Airlines has signed a five-year agreement with Unilode Aviation Solutions for the supply and management of unit load devices (ULDs) for its two new A330-200 aircraft.

The airline said it chose Unilode, in part, due to its ability to pool airlines’ ULDs together, “based on their respective monthly stock allocation,”  which the company describes in a document. Some other Unilode airline customer include LATAM, Air Canada, Hawaiian, CargoLogicAir and AirBridgeCargo.

Earlier this summer, Nepal Airlines released plans to purchase its first two widebody aircraft, which will soon be operational in Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia as well as, potentially, cities in India, Chin and Sri Lanka.

Learn more about the state of the market on 10-12 October at Cargo Facts Symposium during the panel Air Cargo 2019: Will the peak march on? For more information, or to register, visit www.cargofactssymposium.com.
