French technology company OCEASOFT announced the launch of its mobile temperature data logger Cobalt ML3, which combines temperature-monitoring software with the “internet of things” (IoT) to create a product that will track temperatures during product shipments with a specialization in long-range wireless data transfer.

The Cobalt ML3 product automatically collects temperature data recorded by its modules and transfer the information to the cloud via the low power wide area network LoRaWAN, which provides secure bi-directional communication, mobility and localization services to devices connected to the IoT. The French company Dispam Groupe 2M, which specializes in refrigerated truck transportation, will deploy Cobalt ML3 across its entire vehicle fleet.
