French logistics company Bolloré signed a 15-year lease on an 80,000-square-foot facility adjacent to London’s Heathrow International Airport. The warehouse complex is due to reach completion this month. SEGRO plc and Aviva Investors, partners in the project, announced that they have secured the leasing to Bolloré through a joint venture.
Thanks to its close proximity to Heathrow, the new Bolloré facility is part of the speculatively-built Skyline development project, which also includes a 74,000-square-foot warehouse and offers international connectivity and easy access to the U.K.’s national motorway network from the M4 and M25.
Stuart Innes, managing director of Bolloré Logistics, explained that the Skyline development will be “perfectly suited” to the company’s long-term plans to become a major player in the air cargo industry.
