DHL Supply Chain has renewed its contract with France-based turboprop aircraft manufacturer ATR. The new three-year extension covers global inventory management and aircraft spare-part orders. A notable volume of DHL cargo flies aboard ATR turboprop conversions around the world.
Since 2005, DHL Supply Chain has provided ATR with inventory management, international distribution of spare parts, and operations related to maintenance that require rapid response times. The German logistics company also handles custom operations for spare parts and equipment, in collaboration with its global forwarding arm.
As part of the new contract, DHL Supply Chain will also carry out kitting operations for ATR. This addition expands the scope of the relationship between the two companies.
