Adria Airways, Slovenia’s national airline, extended its cargo-handling contract with Fraport Cargo Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of airport management company Fraport AG. The cargo service will continue to be responsible for all of Adria’s freight-handling operations at Frankfurt Airport.
The partnership between Ljubljana-based Adria Airways and FCS started in 1990. Thanks to strong growth in recent years, Adria Airways has become one of FCS’s most successful customers. It has a fleet of 13 aircraft, which operate 220 weekly flights to more than 20 different European cities. Adria Airways flies freight twice a day to Frankfurt from Ljubljana and Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.
