DHL has opened a 56,000-square-meter distribution center in Mumbai dedicated to life sciences and healthcare. Also, for the sixth consecutive year, DHL has transported medical supplies to Central America on behalf of Iowa MOST, a nonprofit providing free surgical repair for cleft lip and palate to people in the western highlands region of Guatemala. DHL most recently shipped six large boxes weighing approximately 379 kilos from Iowa to a local hospital in Guatemala.

Pilot Freight Services has announced that its Washington, D.C.-based facility is now fully capable of handling international goods.
