Two weeks ago, 21 Air began service as an ACMI and charter company.
The company, based in North Carolina, plans to target small- to medium-size airlines and air cargo companies.
21 Air is starting with a B767-200ERSF. It will add a second aircraft by the end of May. These two planes will be based at Miami International Airport in order to provide ACMI service to Latin America and the Caribbean.
21 Air is also evaluating other medium-size freighters intended to complement its fleet by the fourth quarter of 2014.
The carrier’s aircraft are being operated by Dynamic Airways, a Greensboro, North Carolina-based airline specializing in B767s.
