Jan de Rijk buys Omega for pharma business
As Jan de Rijk Logistics grows in the pharmaceutical sector, it has taken an interest in and acquired 100 percent control of Netherlands-based Omega Logistics. Omega is a niche player with a network that distributes temperature-controlled products to pharmacies, hospitals and other healthcare facilities, as well as directly to patients.
This acquisition strengthens Jan de Rijk Logistics in the delivery of high-value, temperature-controlled products. Omega Logistics has more than 20 employees and a fleet of more than 60 vehicles that will be added to Jan de Rijk’s diversified fleet of 550 vehicles across Europe.
