STI Freight Management has made temperature-controlled less-than-truckload (LTL) service available with fixed departure times from Hungary to Romania. The German logistics provider will load at various shipment stations in Hungary, transporting goods twice a week in partitioned trailers at three temperature levels via a distribution center in Romania, owned by sister company HAVI Logistics.
“We are one of the few service providers in Hungary and Romania who can offer an LTL service for all temperature levels concurrently,” said Kai Schüttke, vice president of STI Freight Management.
Currently, STI operates 34 LTL routes on a fixed schedule. The company connectsits road operation network with 13 subsidiaries in Europe. In addition to the Hungary-Romania route, LTL shipments are carried out once a week from Spain to both Belgium and the Netherlands. Weekly scheduled routes also operate from northern Italy to Slovenia and Spain.
