Even with the FedEx takeover pending, TNT continues to make business deals. The European express carrier inked a five-year contract to be the exclusive global carrier, in the air and on the ground, for Harding Safety, which sells and services marine-related equipment, including life boats and rescue boats. TNT will provide express delivery, economy, palletized freight and special services for Harding.
Harding Safety redesigned its supply chain by consolidating smaller warehouse locations and centralizing them into seven warehouse locations globally. The warehouses are located in Seimsfoss, Norway; Rotterdam; Dubai; Shanghai; Singapore; New Iberia; the United States and Macaé, Brazil.
TNT will carry Harding Safety’s worldwide inbound and outbound transport of spares for lifesaving equipment to merchant, cruise, offshore and naval customers.
