Volga-Dnepr Group subsidiary and British all-cargo airline CargoLogicAir (CLA) is adding another destination to its network of scheduled freighter operations with the addition of a weekly 747-400F flight from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv.
The new service will begin on Nov. 10, with Friday departures from Frankfurt, but CLA’s outbound service on the route will switch from Frankfurt to Hahn Airport in December. “We expect to carry a diverse range of cargoes on this route, including regular shipments of pharmaceuticals, high-tech products, aerospace components and perishables,” said the carrier’s CEO, Dmitry Grishin.
Rom Top Aviation will serve as CLA’s general sales agency partner in Tel Aviv.
The carrier traditionally has provided charter services and served ACMI contracts since receiving its Air Operator Certificate from the U.K. Civil Aviation Authority in early 2016. CLA began offering scheduled service in August, with twice-weekly 747-400F flights from London Stansted Airport to Mexico City International Airport. CLA added its second scheduled route from London to Dubai and Hong Kong via Frankfurt in October.
